Is fake news a serious problem in out contemporary world?

I think that fake news is very serious problem in contemporary world. We can see this on example of elections. During the election campaign people share many news, unfortunately many of them are not real. For this reason socjety have a big problem with voteing because they dont know what is truth or not. Fake news are often about public figure too. Its a really big problem when juornalists write untruth story abot them. Such person can just be sad. Thirdly some man can also lye about his life and say that is fake news. Its very comfortable when you can cover your mishaps by lie. As you can see fake news is really big problem whats show above examples.

Is lying morally wrong?

In my opinion lying is morally wrong when people do it for their safety.
Another situation is when we do it as not to hurt others. But I think people shouldnt lye because as the proverb says lye has short legs. When we lye to someone and this person finds out. He may lose confidence in us. Ultimately I think lye is wrong and immorraly.
