 Royce Gracie born on 12 December 1966 in Rio de Janeiro. He is Helios son. So martial arts has got in blood. Royce is one of the best mma and jiu jitsu fighter. He proved it winning three of the first Ultimate Fighting Championship. This event changed the perception of jiu jitsu and put this player on the pages of history. Royce is a member of the ufc hall of fame, broke many of the organization's records and was ranked 44th for all-time athletes in 2014. Now he is a trainer of brazillian ju jitsu and will prepare future martial arts stars.

The greatest figures in martial arts - part 1

 

Helio Garcie born on 1 October 1913 in Brazil. He had got two brothers, but Helio was much weaker and worse built than them. Of this reason he decided to create new martial art style less based on strength. He become a creator of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu one of the most famous fighting style of our time. Helio died on 29 January 2009

Mas Oyama he has practiced and tried many martial arts such as boxing, karate or judo.  He also created a training program, when practitioner spend three years in solitude, outside of civilization just by training. Mas in his life beat 50 bulls and 270 opponents. Most of fights didn’t even go for one minute. In 1953 Oyama opened his first dojo in Tokyo. He create a new karate style- karate kyokushin. After this Mas decided to perform a three hundred man kumite in three days. He beat 300 people in 3 days. Sadly, Mas Oyama (a non-smoker) died of lung cancer in 1994.
