Why do young adults develop eating disorders?

A huge amount of people struggle with eating disorders, unfortunately not everyone knows what it entails. They’re caused by mental health, genetics, culture and environment but every case is different and individual. Most of our society thinks that eating disorders are about food or wanting to be thin, but actually most of the time we’re starving ourselves, trying unnecessary diets because of the stress and pressure. People who lives that way is more likely to have anxiety and other serious complications. Another incorrection is thinking that only underweighted people could have eating disorders. Everyone can have this illnesses, so we should not judge just by looking at someone. Eating disorders are illnesses, not character flaws or choices.

Kanye West: Netflix buys documentary 21 years in the making

 

This week, I read an article about the upcoming movie about the life of American rapper Kanye West. It was during the last days that Netflix bought a documentary covering 20 years of the musician's life for about 30 million dollars. There were key events in West's life at that time, for example: successful production of Jay Z album, great recognition for his solo albums, for which he has won many awards, including grammy, the unexpected death of his mother or the unsuccessful candidacy for the US president in 2020. Kanye's entire career is controversial, from political views to his accusation against Bush. The rapper's fans also ask themselves if the new documentary will contain information about West's upcoming divorce from Kim Kardashian. However, we will find out everything only when Netflix releases new material, so it remains only to wait.
